Investors including Barry Sternlicht and KKR & Co. (KKR) are buying second-tier shopping malls in places from Lincoln, Nebraska, to suburban Chicago in a hunt for higher yields as retail sales at the properties rebound.

The Australian share market ended a little lower yesterday, despite a positive start to the session. The ASX 200 Index (XJO) fell 8 points to 4157 points.

Yesterday was another down day for the Australian share market, with widespread selling in all sectors apart from the utilities, the All Ordinaries Index (XAO) ended off 101 points to 4214 points.

SO here we are again, wallowing with the PIIGS in the mire after a 2.3 per cent shellacking which has wiped out 70 per cent of the market's gains painstakingly accrued since the start of the year.
